OF FOOD, FRIENDS & LOVE. The second post of the month due to the influx of pictures from visits to many amazing places in the past month. It’s been an eventful (albeit expensive HUR) month spent with great company.

The bf brought me to try the desserts at Mad About Sucre, of which they had a really pretty interior and some really good chocolate desserts. They are experimenting with a pop-up menu which changes every 2 weeks now, so you’ll get something different each time. Ion Sky was a place i never visited despite shopping there many times, and although crowded(because we went on a Sunday), the exhibit and place itself was worth the trip.

Bread Street Kitchen exceeded our expectations, not surprisingly. It was our 2nd time there, and it was better then the first. The cured salmon, Sunday roast and Monkfish were a m a z i n g. Okay, especially the monkfish, it was my favourite of the evening. BSK has undeniably became one of our to-go date places.

On a very VERY rare off day the bf had, he made a reservation for us to vist FOC Sentosa. I broke my Spanish/Paella food streak that evening after abstaining from it for almost 8 months(due to too much of it on exchange). It did not disappoint-their paella was probably one of the best i’ve had in SG, and the rest of their tapas emulated true authentic Spanish palettes. Cheers to the very delicious complimentary champagne we had too!!

Potato Head Folk is a place i visited a couple of times for various occasions-coffee, drinks, brunch etc. This time it was to meet up with dearest Dawn and Jules + their Bfs. The burgers were delicious as usual, so were the drinks at Studio 1939. It was nice having the entire group together to catch up-makes me appreciate having such wonderful friends even more.

I apologise for the unexpectedly long post, but it will likely be the last before the stream of CNY photos are out. Speaking of which, Happy Chinese New Year to all my fellow friends celebrating it, otherwise, Happy Holidays to everyone else!
