AMSTERDAM. This second time in Amsterdam was as enjoyable as the first, if not better. Our Airbnb room was so lovely-really big and adorned with full windows which allowed a lot of natural light in, so we really liked the room. The only downside about renting rooms over an entire place is that it’s less comfortable to use common areas like the kitchen. But it was difficult finding a reasonably priced place in Amsterdam, so the room was the best option for us.
I managed to visit more tourist-y sights as compared to my first trip here(the places are listed below)-i still enjoy walking along the canals and having coffee+nutella waffles by the IAMSTERDAM sign the most. Also managed to grab brunch at a really pretty place(make reservations if you don’t want to wait!), and a really good teppanyaki dinner as well. Netherlands is probably my other favourite place to visit aside from Spain, and it was a lovely end to our Easter break.
School has been filling my schedules these days, with projects, papers, and finals around the corner. It’s only another 3 weeks till the official end of lessons-crazy how fast it is. On a side note, i’m moving back to my own apartment tomorrow!! I’m so glad to have my own place again. It was a nice change having flat mates for awhile, but i still prefer having my own space heh. Till next time!
