BILBAO,SPAIN. Jin and i travelled to Bilbao over the Valentine’s weekend-after a whole frenzy with a missed train, confused timings and a few exasperating moments, we finally arrived in the rainy city on Saturday afternoon. There were a few moments where we literally felt like pulling our hair out, but i’m glad that we both managed to stay pretty calm through it all and honestly, we laughed most of it off and looked at them in a positive light!

Albeit the rainy weather, Bilbao was a new and pretty sight to take in. We initially planned a 3D2N trip which turned into a 2D1N trip due to the missed train, and i guess it was a blessing due to the limited activities we could do there. We visited the Guggenheim Museum which was pretty much a bore to both of us, though we had fun with our own interpretations of the paintings and art work there heh! The architecture of it was still pretty awesome. We also visited a pretty café i googled prior to the trip, and had a really good Japanese omakase dinner at Kokken on our last night to celebrate Valentine’s-i highly recommend for you to try this place if you’re heading to Bilbao.

I’ll be heading to Amsterdam next weekend in celebration of my birthday(i can’t believe it’s already been a year since my 21st!), so i’m looking forward to that. In the meantime, lessons have been good but projects are piling up, yet somehow, the city calms it all.
