CHIKUWA TEI. I think the 1 perfect phrase to describe this dinner-“sashimi overload”. Lin and i had a more than satisfactory dinner that evening with each of us consuming way more sashimi than we probably did in the past few months. The sashimi slices were extremely fresh(we were lucky because they just shipped in fresh fish that day!), tasty, and certainly worth its value. Both of us agreed we ordered a little too much for our stomachs to handle, but we were thoroughly contented and happy with sashimi filled bellies by the end of the night.

SYMMETRY. I finally met up with the darling Sheena after so many months for an advanced birthday brunch date at Symmetry café. It was so good catching up with this girl over a hearty brunch of waffles, beef bourguignon & (one of the best) parmesan topped truffle fries. Symmetry is definitely a café worth of what it offers. Thank you for the TWG tea dearest! I have been diligently enjoying it every night ever since it was given to me.

HABITAT COFFEE. Brunch on my birthday day itself was spent with dearest Lianne. Despite being in the same school, we rarely get to see each other now due to our busy schedules and lack of coincidence in timetables. Truly missed the times where we’d see each other everyday during our JC days! Nonetheless, it was so good to see this babe again. We spent a good 2 hours at Habitat Coffee, savoring the very delicious eggs benedict’s, sweet apple cinnamon pancakes & probably the best churros-I’m definitely coming back here if i want to satisfy my churros cravings. Thank you for the lovely accessories & TWG tea chocolates! I loved all of them.

BISTRO SOORI. My birthday dinner with the family was spent at a chic restaurant called Bistro Soori. They serve fusion food with a contemporary twist, and have quite an array of special house cocktails to choose from as well. We decided on having a dinner set menu each comprising of a starter, main, and dessert. The food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth its cost. I would like to head back there to for their lunch menu(at half the price of the dinner menu) one day. After dinner, mum surprised me with a birthday cake(or tart rather) from one of my favorite bakeries-The Patessier. The passion meringue fruit tart was throughly enjoyed by all of us. I love it that my family always has the tradition to celebrate birthdays together no matter what-Thank God i have such a wonderful family<3
